Mysore Nuggets Extra Bold is the highest grade of Indian Arabica coffee with very large Coffee Bean size. This is a specialty coffee which represents the best quality of coffee from India Mysore is a traditional market name for coffee from south-central India, Extra Bold refers to the very large bean size, and Nuggets, I take it, has something to do with preciousness, as in nuggets of gold. During the late 1800’s, City of Mysore, was mined with intentions of finding coal, instead they found gold! When coffee was planted, the trees flourished and produced larger coffee beans than other coffee plants in the region; this is how this gourmet coffee earned the nickname, “Gold Nugget“. This shade grown coffee has been inter-planted with the natural forest trees like Teak,Rosewood, Silver Oak & Jack fruit along with Orange and Pepper. The beans are very large, uniform bluish-green in color, with a clean polished appearance.
